A rebate pays on turnover, a cashback pays on a loss

The two words get used interchangeably in Cambodian Telegram groups and they should not be. A rebate is calculated on turnover — the total you stake, whether the spin wins, loses or lands on nothing at all. Play through USD 400 on slots and the rebate is worked out on that USD 400, not on whatever is left in the wallet afterwards. A cashback is calculated on an outcome: you lost, so a share of the loss comes back. One rewards volume, the other softens a bad night. Both exist in our lobby, they are funded differently, and they almost never carry the same terms. Anyone telling you a casino rebate and a cashback are the same product has not read either set of rules.

• Rebate — paid against turnover. It accrues while you play and does not care whether the session finished up or down.
• Cashback — paid against a defined loss. It needs a losing result, normally inside a stated window or on one stated bet.

Turnover is the number that matters, and it is not your deposit

Turnover separates a rebate worth planning around from one that is decorative, and players consistently underestimate their own. A USD 20 deposit does not produce USD 20 of turnover. It produces USD 20 on the first pass, then produces more every time a win is staked again. On a medium-volatility slot with a theoretical return in the mid-nineties, twenty dollars typically cycles several times before it is gone. That recycling is what a rebate is paid on, which is why a rate that looks trivial next to a welcome percentage can quietly out-earn it across a month of ordinary evenings.

It settles in dollars, so do the riel maths once

A Cambodian BK8 account holds US dollars. Not riel, and not both. The string KHR does not appear anywhere in our platform configuration, our Cambodia region is restricted to a single currency, and the internal wallet code for Cambodia resolves to USD. That is less strange here than it would be almost anywhere else: 83.4% of Cambodia's broad money was denominated in US dollars at the end of 2025, and hotel rooms, airline tickets and any transaction of size are already quoted in dollars. It does mean every rebate and cashback figure on this page is a dollar figure, and that converting it in your head is your job, not the cashier's.

Getting rebate money out through ABA, ACLEDA or Wing

A rebate you cannot withdraw is not a rebate, so the exit route matters as much as the rate. We configure three bank codes for Cambodian dollar deposits — ABA, ACLEDA and Maybank — and underneath them sit the Bakong rails Cambodians already use daily. Five practical points catch people out more than anything else on our withdrawal page:

• Currency has to match. Cross-currency transfers are not allowed on the Bakong rail — the transfer currency and the account currency must be identical, and there is no in-app FX on the hop. A dollar balance goes to a dollar account.
• ABA's ceiling to other Bakong member banks is 240,000,000 riel or 60,000 US dollars, both per transaction and per day, and incoming transfers from other Bakong members reach ABA free of charge with no stated limit.
• On ACLEDA's own fee table, moving money out of an ACLEDA Bakong account is free, capped at USD 2,500 per transaction and USD 10,000 a day.

Read the terms the way a cashier reads them
