Who you are contracting with

An account is a contract with a company, not with a website, so the company goes first. BK8 is operated by Mettlemind Tech Ltd., registration number 15779, registered at Hamchako, Mutsamudu, on the Autonomous Island of Anjouan in the Union of Comoros. The licence in force is issued by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan under number ALSI-202504032-FI2. Older BK8 properties carried a Curaçao licence — the Master License of Gaming Services Provider, N.V. #365/JAZ — and our platform still ships a /curacao.php route left over from that period. It is an artefact, not the licence you play under. Our official Cambodian domain is www.bk8khr.com, and the corporate domain bk8.com redirects to bk8.co. Those are the addresses these terms cover.

Where these terms apply, and where the law is yours to check

We write this page for readers in Cambodia, in plain English on purpose. What it cannot do is decide for you whether you may lawfully open an account from where you are sitting. Cambodia's own position is public record: the 1996 Law on Suppression of Gambling outlawed unauthorised gambling for Cambodian nationals, online gambling was banned with effect from 2020, and the Law on the Management of Commercial Gambling promulgated that year created the Commercial Gambling Management Commission of Cambodia as the regulator. Stand-alone online-only licences do not exist under that framework — an online licence can only sit inside a land-based casino licence — which is the structural reason no offshore operator, ourselves included, holds a Cambodian one. Ours is Anjouan, and we would rather say so on this page than bury it.

• You are responsible for knowing the law where you are, and for deciding whether to open an account under it.
• You must be old enough to gamble legally in the place you are playing from, and we will ask you to prove it.
• The account is personal to you. Do not open one for someone else, and do not hand your login to anyone.
• The money you stake must be your own, moved from an account in your own name.

One account, one person

Registration takes a mobile number under the Cambodian 855 country code and an email address, and both are verified before the account goes live. A Cambodian account is not asked for a birthdate or for bank-account verification at that stage — both are switched on for some of our other currencies and deliberately not for this one. Identity checks run through Sumsub, enabled on nine of our ten currencies (every one except the Philippine peso) and covering both Cambodian codes, KHUSD and KHEUR. The rule underneath all of it is short: the details you enter must be true and they must be yours. One person, one account — a second account traced to the same number, device or identity is among the quickest ways to stall your own payout. Your balance is held in US dollars

Cambodia runs on two internal currency codes with us, KHUSD and KHEUR, which resolve to US dollars and euros, and our registration configuration restricts the Cambodia region to a single currency: USD. There is no riel account anywhere on the platform — the code KHR does not appear in our currency configuration at all — so it belongs here in the terms rather than as a surprise at the cashier. It also follows the country rather than fighting it: 83.4% of Cambodia's broad money was denominated in US dollars at the end of 2025, dollars price anything significant, and riel handles the sub-dollar change at the retail convention of 4,000 to the dollar. One consequence bites at deposit time. Transfers over the Bakong rail cannot cross currencies — the transfer and the sending account must be in the same money, with no in-app conversion — so send from a dollar account. Where riel does need converting, it converts at your own bank on your bank's rate, which is neither set nor reimbursed by us. ACLEDA's published board rate on 10 September 2026 was 4,048 riel buy and 4,062 riel sell.

Deposits, withdrawals and the name on the account

Three bank codes are configured for Cambodian dollar deposits: ABA for ABA Bank, ACLB for ACLEDA and MBB for Maybank. Whichever route you use, one rule governs both directions — the account sending money in and the account receiving money out must belong to the person named on the BK8 account. We check that before a first withdrawal rather than after it, which is why verification is better done on a quiet evening than on the night you want your money. A payout is released once the account is verified and any bonus on the balance has met its conditions; where a balance is part cash and part bonus, it is the bonus portion that carries turnover. Five things stall a payout more often than anything else:

• An unverified phone number or email address — both are required, and one does not stand in for the other.
• A sending account in someone else's name: a spouse's, a friend's, an employer's.
• A bonus still carrying turnover, since cash and bonus portions are treated separately.
• A second account traced to the same person, number or device.
• A transfer that bounced because it crossed currencies — Bakong will not convert riel into dollars in flight.

Bonuses, turnover and what voids an offer

Every promotion carries its own terms, and where those differ from this page, the promotion's terms govern it. Read them in the cashier before you opt in. Two rules carry across all of them. A bonus is credited as bonus funds and becomes withdrawable cash only once its turnover requirement is met — turnover being the number of times the amount must be staked before it converts. Fair play, security and the audits behind the games

Closing an account, complaints and changes to this page

You can close a BK8 account whenever you like and you do not owe us a reason. Ask support, withdraw what is left once verification and any outstanding turnover are settled, and that is the end of it.
