Downloading the BK8 APK on an Android phone
Chrome does 61.66% of mobile browsing in Cambodia, so this is written for Chrome. Open our Cambodian site on the phone you actually want the app on. A white banner appears at the top of the mobile page — two lines reading BK8 App Download and Download App version Now, with a blue Download pill on the right and an X to dismiss it. That pill is the download. If you closed the banner, the app section further down the page carries the same thing under the headline The future of gaming is here, with separate iOS and Android tabs. Those two places are the whole route; anything else offering you a file is not part of the page.
- Open our site in Chrome on the phone itself — not on a desktop, and not through a link somebody forwarded to you.
- Tap the blue Download pill in the BK8 App Download banner, or pick the Android tab in the app section if you dismissed the banner.
- Chrome will warn you about the file type. That warning appears for application packages downloaded outside an app store, whoever published them; keep the download.
- Open the downloaded file and allow installs from Chrome when Android asks. The permission is granted per app and can be switched off again once you are done.

Where the file has to come from
Our own domains move. bk8.com issues a permanent redirect to bk8.co, the Cambodian canonical is bk8khr.com, and the short market domains hand off to platform mirrors partway through a session. That is ordinary housekeeping for an operator running eight markets, and it is also the exact gap fake APKs live in: a bookmark goes stale, someone posts a helpful replacement link, and the file that arrives is not ours. We host our Android builds ourselves where we can. The SABA sportsbook app is served from our own host as saba-apps.apk, and the Mega888 build sits on bk8dl.com, which is also ours. The honest exception is the 918Kiss build, which sits on a third-party host — worth knowing where you are before you tap.
First: the download starts from a page you navigated to yourself, in a browser, on our domain — never from a file attached in a chat and never from a mirror promising a lighter or faster version. Android carries 55.46% of Cambodian mobile browsing and iOS 44.5%, which is why we do not treat the APK as the default route for everybody. Oppo alone accounts for 21.8% of handsets here, ahead of Samsung at 8.5% and Vivo at 7.19%, so the build has to behave on mid-range hardware rather than on flagship screens. A quarter of Cambodian phone traffic sits at 414×896 and another 14.32% at 360×800; those two sizes decide the layout. Median mobile download speed is 29.37 Mbps, which is comfortable for live tables and is also why we keep the install lean rather than shipping every asset up front.
Cambodia is still a desktop-majority market — 59.05% desktop against 39.98% mobile in August 2026 — so the app is one route among several rather than the only one. Apple is the single largest handset vendor here at 44.49%, so a fair share of the people searching for a BK8 APK are holding an iPhone: there is no APK for them, and the iOS build is a separate download on a separate page.

Funding the app: ABA, ACLEDA, Wing and KHQR
Deposits happen inside the app, not in a browser tab left open on the side. Two rail facts save arguments later. Bakong has 63 official members plus seven institutions in the process of integration — ABA, ACLEDA, Wing Bank, Canadia and Sathapana among them, alongside wallet operators such as TrueMoney, eMoney and Pi Pay — so a bank being absent is rarely the real problem. And the caps are set by each member institution rather than centrally: an ABA customer can send up to 60,000 USD per transaction and per day to other Bakong members, while transfers out of an ACLEDA Bakong account are free with a per-transaction cap of USD 2,500 and a daily cap of USD 10,000. Money coming back out follows the same rails in reverse.
What is worth opening first
Slots are what the app gets opened for. Updates, storage and the things that go wrong
Two things follow from an app that is not distributed through a store. Updates arrive as a prompt inside the app itself, which means a notice pushed to you by SMS or a messaging group is not from us, however convincing the wording. - Install stops partway: delete the incomplete file from Downloads and start the download again rather than opening it twice.
- New phone: uninstall the old build before installing the current one, so two versions never sit side by side.
- The download page states the minimum Android version the current build needs; anything sold in Cambodia in the last few years clears it comfortably.
- Storage warning during install: Android needs free space to unpack the package, not just to store it.
